WIN Natural Pharmacy
 We at WIN stock our own Natural Pharmacy with hundreds of
professional grade, top quality botanicals, supplements, and
homeopathics that we use in our everyday practice.
We believe there are several advantages to maintaining our
own in-house Natural Pharmacy. Firstly, it provides patients
with convenience. You will not have to go to another facility
or online for your prescriptions. This ensures that patients
receive the correct prescription in the proper amount. It also
ensures that you get a product with outstanding quality. Secondly,
we feel that certain products are priced unrealistically through
retail outlets and we discount these items. Lastly, it helps
us operate as a business and achieve our main goal, outstanding
patient care. By operating our Natural Pharmacy, we are not
relying solely on patient visitations for income and so can
spend enough time with each patient to provide meticulous attention
and adequate time to them on each visit. Our clinic policy
is to have 30-60 minute return visits and for each physician
to see no more than eight patients in a day. This quality of
care would not be possible without the contribution our Natural
Pharmacy makes to our overall practice.
However, we recognize that there is a perception of possible
conflict of interest, i.e. the making of profit on unnecessary
prescriptions. Therefore, both WIN physicians, Dr. Capsey and
Dr. Rogers, make this pledge:
We will never over-prescribe or prescribe products that
patients do not need. We will always re-evaluate a patient’s
prescriptions and discontinue them when the supplements are
no longer needed.
In addition, if patients are
not comfortable with purchasing their prescriptions from our
own Natural Pharmacy, we will provide them with alternate sources
for the same high quality products. We have ensured that Island
Drug, with stores in Oak Harbor and Clinton, carries most of
the products we sell through our own Natural Pharmacy. There
are also online retailers from which our patients may obtain
their prescribed products if they wish.
