How Does Clean & Lean Work?
The liver is your body’s major fat burning organ. It breaks
down fats, carbohydrates and proteins for immediate energy and
for longer term storage. Its other major function is to detoxify
everything that goes into your body, including medications, pollutants,
chemicals, and especially foods. This is a huge job that requires
a lot of nutrients. One of the first goals of Clean & Lean is
to insure that you have all the necessary nutritional elements

The waste from the liver is dumped into the gall bladder. When
a lot of it gets dumped, and especially when it is particularly

How to Get a Jump Start
If you drink a lot of coffee or soda, start cutting down. You
can begin to make a lot of healthy change by just eliminating
beverages with caffeine and sugar. Green tea is a healthier option,
with or without caffeine.
Add 2 glasses of water between breakfast and lunch and again
between lunch and dinner. For added benefit, add lemon to your
water.
If you are sedentary, start walking. Start with 15 minutes and
work your way up to 30 minute walks. It’s just as good
to do a few small segments as one long one. If you have discomfort
with exercise, see the doctor first.
